Kevin (Pa) Dee Holder, was born July 11, 1956, the son of Jack and Joyce Winchester Holder and departed peacefully at his home November 15, 2025, at the age of 69.
He was united in marriage to Sue Wade on September 27, 2003, they had been together for 25 years.
Kevin was a 1974 graduate of Scott City High School. After 25 years of service, he retired from Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church he was baptized in August of 2020. Kevin became well known through the years for his pool playing skills and for being an avid hunter. He also enjoyed collecting arrowheads and always loved his dogs. Most of all, Kevin loved his grandchildren who called him Pa.
Survivors include: his wife, Sue Holder, of the home, daughter, Tammy McLeary Stotts of Zalma, son, Ryan (Jennifer) McLeary of Advance, five grandchildren, Kelsi (Jacob) Spears, Nate Stotts, Lily McLeary, Nicholas (Bug) Stotts and Rhett McLeary, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Kendric Holder of Buena Vista, GA and Tim (Missy) Holder of Puxico, niece, Jessica Holder, nephew, Jack Holder, great-niece, Bonnie Holder
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Joyce Holder and two sisters, Terri and Carol Holder.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Dongola Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Dongola, MO.
