Ronald Dwight Brittain, Sr., 69, is resting in the arms of the Lord. He passed away November 26, 2025, at Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews. He was born January 13, 1956, in DeSoto, Mo the son of Mary Sue McWhirter.
Ronald had a career as a funeral director in St. Louis for over 20 years. He had been President of the Kiwanis Club in Jennings, MO, a volunteer fire fighter in Orchard Farm, MO and an auxiliary police officer in Acres, MO. He was a loving father and friend.
Ronald and Diana Ward were united in marriage on April 26, 2003 at Dexter.
Loving survivors include: his wife, Diana Brittain of Dexter, five sons, Ronald Brittain, Jr. of Japan, Jonathan Brittain of Keysport, IL, Jarrot Ward, Sr. of Kennett, Josh Ward of Killeen, TX, and Jermiah Ward of Chicago, IL, a daughter, Rachel Grant of Granite City, IL, six grandchildren, several cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and daughter, Questa Ward.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Justin Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Pine City Cemetery in Holcomb, MO.
