Teresa Kay Stacy, 69, of Advance, passed away December 8, 2025. She was born December 17, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Gary Lee and Dolly Lou Cowger Davault, Sr.
Teresa was a 1974 graduate of Advance High School. She devoted 40 years to her career as a registered nurse. She cared for countless patients as a traveling nurse and working in hospitals. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Advance. Her hobbies included shopping, gardening, and caring for her pets.
Survivors include: two sons, Allyn (Belinda) Stacy of Northfield, MA and Josh (Nicole) Stacy of Advance, two brothers, Gary Davault, Jr. of Advance and Mike Davault of Advance, four grandchildren, Austin Stacy, Andres Stacy, Diego Stacy, and Quintin Stacy, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy Josh Davault.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Pastor Randy Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
