Rev. Leon Corzine, 68, of Dudley, MO, passed away April 28, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 22, 1950 in Gipsy, MO, the son of Andy Glen and Lola Peters Corzine.
Leon had been the minister at Oak Ridge General Baptist Church near Swinton. He had worked as a farm laborer and worked on machinery.
Leon and Virginia Faye Foster were united in marriage on September 3, 1971 at Campbell, MO and she survives.
Loving survivors include: his wife, Virginia Corzine a son, Andy (Kristy) Corzine of Dudley two daughters, Katina Vincent of Lebanon, MO and Katherine (Kevin) McCollough of Dudley a brother, Jimmy Corzine of Dexter five sisters, Novie Rhody, Freda Rhody and Glenda Long, all of Campbell, Gene Frazier of South Carolina and Jackie Frazier of Gibson, MO nine grandchildren, Dylan Vincent, Nathan Vincent, DAnne Sloan, Destiny Corzine, Robert Corzine, Abigail McCollough, James McCollough, Kailigh Wallace and Andie Corzine two great-grandchildren, Levi Hanner and Zayleah Burnette.
He was preceded in death by his parents two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Weds. May 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. to the chapel with Rev. Gary Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery near Dudley, MO.
