Ronald Gale Chapman,79, of Advance passed away December 23, 2025, at Aspire Senior Living. Ronnie was born on January 19, 1946, in Bell City, the son of Gideon Reed and Helen Immogene Cook Chapman.
Ronnie worked as a welder at Amco Machines and Fabrication in Sikeston for over 15 years. He was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed hunting rabbits. He loved watching high school basketball and sitting on his front porch talking with his friends.
Survivors include: a son, Ronald (Tonya) Gale Chapman Jr. of Corydon, KY, a daughter, Cheri (Jeanette) Chapman of Bell City, a brother, John Chapman of Advance, a sister, Sue Beal of Advance, two grandchildren, Stephanie Chapman and Steven Chapman, and a great-grandchild, Ryan Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary Chapman, and a sister, Melba Chapman.
Services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 26, 2025, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Mike Lee officiating.
